Important Information to All Patients

We thank you for all your ongoing support at this extremely difficult and challenging time.

The practice has been open throughout the pandemic. Although the way you are able to access us has changed due to the crisis, we are still here to help. If you are finding it difficult to get a telephone consultation with a GP then you can submit an eConsult request or message the practice through the Patient Access App (see details below). You don’t always need an appointment for us to help you, so we please make use of these services to access the practice for your convenience.

Covid Safe Precautions at the Practice

The practice is open. However we have introduced an intercom system at our main entrance and we are controlling the number of people entering the practice at any one time to ensure we can maintain social distancing. When you enter the surgery, in line with government guidance for all enclosed spaces, we ask that you please wear a mask or face covering that fully covers your nose and mouth (unless your are medically exempt). We also ask for your help in protecting fellow patients and our staff by not coming to the surgery if you are suffering from ANY of the known symptoms of coronavirus.

This includes:

  • a Fever,
  • a new, or continuous cough,
  • shortness of breath,
  • and/ or a change or loss of your sense of taste or small.
  • You should also not come to the surgery if you have been told to self-isolate due to recent exposure, or if you have been advised to isolate after returning from foreign travel.

Please call us instead, or call 111 if you have concerns about coronavirus symptoms. You can call 119 if you want to book or need advice about coronavirus testing.

Due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic, in order to protect our patients and staff, all GP appointments will be offered as telephone consultations in the first instance. If the GP feels there is a clinical need for you to be seen after your initial telephone consultation, they will arrange a follow-up face to face appointment for you.

Face to face appointments are available with our Nurses. If you need to, or if you have been advised to make an appointment with a Nurse, then please speak to reception.
